We hope you can join us this year for our 41st Annual Douglas Park Civic Association Fourth of July Parade and Potluck on Tuesday 4 July 2023! All neighbors are invited to attend, and the event is free of charge. We just ask if you are planning on attending the potluck that you bring a side dish (last names beginning with A-M) or a dessert (last names beginning N-Z).

10:00am – Bicycle decorating contest for kids with cash prizes (Monroe Park). Judges will be in search for the best parade floats, costumes, decorated bikes, and the coveted prize of Mr and Ms Douglas Park.
10:30am – Parade to Douglas Park, decorated floats and vintage cars welcome
11:00am-2:00pm – Live music, potluck, hot dogs, fire truck, bouncy house, water slide (Douglas Park)
12:00pm – Reading of the Declaration of Independence, a neighborhood tradition!
We are interested in resurrecting a previous tradition this year – for vintage cars to drive behind our parade at 10:30am. Please let your neighbors with vintage cars know they are wanted to show off their wheels!
