Second Annual Douglas Park Spring Egg Hunt

We’re happy to announce the second annual Douglas Park Spring Egg Hunt! The Douglas Park Civic Association is looking forward to your family joining us for this new neighborhood event. We will have eggs to find, a bouncy house, an Easter Bunny kids can take pictures with, and a glitter face paint station. The event will take place the Saturday before Easter, April 19th, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, with the Egg Hunt starting promptly at 10:30am. Participants can enter Douglas Park near the corner of South Quincy Street and 16th Street South (1602 S Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22204).

There will be three separated egg hunts by age group. The first group will be for 1-2 year olds, who can turn in empty eggs for a little toy. The second age group will be 2+ year olds, who will hunt for eggs filled with candy.

We are asking families to bring a food donation for the Arlington Food Assistance Center, or families can make a monetary donation to AFAC at the event. Please bring your own bag to hold eggs during the egg hunt. Please remember to return the empty eggs as they exit the event so we can re-use them next year. We are also in need of volunteers, so please sign up to set up, help out with the Easter Bunny and egg hunts, and clean up. In the event of spring showers, we will reschedule the event for the following Saturday April 26th.

We would like to especially thank our neighbors Tim and Louise Blasius who are making this event happen, and generous support from Kristin Francis Team!
