The next Civic Association meeting will be held at 7pm, Monday 25th April 2022 via Zoom.
The April online newsletter is available here.
Our main agenda item will be a presentation from Leah Gerber, with Arlington County, on the County’s study of George Mason Drive Multimodal Transportation Study (see the Newsletter for details). Given that this road cuts through our neighborhood between Columbia Pike and Four Mile Run Drive (two critical intersections), I strongly encourage all to attend this meeting and prepare questions and feedback for Ms. Gerber.
Also on the agenda for the meeting will include updates on Douglas Park Movie Night (May 7th), the Axumite Village use permit, our annual July 4th Celebration, stormwater funding, and our advocacy efforts regarding the proposed connection of South Monroe Street and 12th Street South.
If you haven’t attended a Civic Association meeting before, I strongly urge you to attend and meet some of your neighbors! Details on the virtual meeting are below.
Eric Berkey, President DPCA
